Inspired by that Aussie hugging dude a few years back we've been holding Hugfest in Nelson BC since 2006. Here's a snippet of our 2009 Valentines Hugfest backed by a beautiful tune from local artist Shawn Stephenson.

dont suppose anyone knows sean dooley from nelson. his father john is the mayor and hails from forkhill in co. armagh in n. ireland. i used to work with him in his uncles joinery in tallanstown co. louth, rep of ireland. haven't seen him in years. any help would be greatly appreciated

I was out in Nelson a while back. I'm originally from Georgia but lived in Spokane, Washington and it was my first time out of the U.S. It is a very beautiful place and friendly people. I like the small town atmosphere yet with great scenery. I'm aking plans to go there again this year.
