A quick overview of how I made my Grell chainsaw from Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji. I had been getting some questions about it and I'm hoping this video will answer most of them. Feel free to post any questions or comments you may have about this prop!
To see the chainsaw in action with my Grell cosplay, visit shinobihime.deviantart.com.
Thanks for watching!

  • @ShinobiHime302 this was very helpful i am make the chainsaw for a friends cosplay she is making steins outfit for me. i dont know if you already gave the price but how much generally would it cost for me to build one similar

  • @MrBlueNintendo Though now I think of it, I should have because I was bullied for cosplaying as Grell

  • @espeonkid101 Good thinking. For my helpful tips, please read our article at umadbro . com

  • @MrBlueNintendo I was thinking of doing that but.... I thought not

  • @espeonkid101 Your fucked.

  • @HopefulCosplayer and @NotSureWhoToLike My chainsaw is actually bigger than what Grell's looks to be in the show. Working of your own proportions is a good idea, and the chainsaw will probably be a more manageable size!

  • what if you used a real chainsaw and brought it to school?

  • I wish I was artsy enough to make something like this.

I'm just gonna have to stick with my plastic toy chain saw xD

  • @NotSureWhoToLike you might want to use sizes proportioned to your body size... Grell's chainsaw is about 1/3 to 1/2 his height when it is on the ground and not pressed in... So if you are really short or if you are really tall her lengths might look funny compared to your body...

  • Can I have the measurements you used on yours? Like saw length, box side length and handle lengths? That's my problem
