  • Hey, I have a quick question, i have a audiovox 6600 and it takes wav files and for some reasons its a very low ringtone, i used audacity to turn up the volume its just the bass is to much! can help me bringing the bass down? Thanks

  • WAV doesn't really provides the clarity you'll find in mp3 format. Still, when you create ringtones, normalize the volume and everything. Export your file as an mp3 (assuming you already have the lame encoder, it's free btw, just google it). And then open it back in and save it as a high quality wav file. That should help at least a bit.

    Good Luck...

  • @rockeytheguru WAV doesn't provide clarity? O.o MP3 is compressed down to hell, how can MP3 be better than WAV, which is comparedly uncompressed?
