does whitlock and that other guy attack their own race because they want to gain "ACCEPTANCE" or "RESPECT" in the field?
is the media/writers ran by white men? thats a legit question and i dont know the answer
my guess would be yes but ...
it seems like they're trying too hard and its unfortunate

Wow..Um Some of us are obsessed with righting some racial sterotypes (again in all races). I tip almost twice as much as I should because "Black people don't tip" and I take it a little personal if I hear that a black person didn't tip some one or one that says "I don't tip". I understand where he's coming from BUT these things are so small and pointless. We'll never stop sterotypes, and there are much more important things out there that sports writers can help correct.

The video wasn't even that bad. New age black folks always whining about things that don't matter. You act like they set the entire race back 100 years. White people do stupid things all the time just to have fun. Do you think they care if black people laugh at them? I don't understand why some black folks are always so concerned at how they are viewed by whites and other races. Its like some of y'all still have a subconscious fear of upsetting "massa".

They don't damn sure don't care how we view them. Black people do eat chicken and watermelon. Big deal, stop being so sensitive and grow a pair. Have y'all seen the Blue Collar Comedy Tour? You don't see white people in an uproar talking about "this makes us look bad to blacks." Stop being so concerned with a group of people who probably would still call you a n*gga even if you got on a suit and a tie.

i think marty b was a lil bit dumb for making that video. i dont think that any one should encourage any racial stereotypes of any kind!!! but by writting fucking articles about it ,bringing it to the worlds attention is even more dumb!!!

..the only reason I can't focus too much on Marty is. I know I would have done something like that and probably did while drunk when I was 22....if we had Youtube in those days it might have been up there too. In this new world, if you put yourself out there you are a mouse click away from everyone's judgment.
