Ancient yogis discovered that we don't breathe through both nostrils at the same time and that each of our nostrils share characteristics of brain hemisphere dominance: for instance, when we breathe through the left nostril, the right side of the brain (creativity) is dominant and when we breathe through the right nostril our left brain (logic) is dominant

  • I'm here because of Robert Anton Wilson.

It's funny if you think about it long enough.

  • @yogayak well said sweety, pls see my other comments and fulfill my request.i love u so much...you are my goddess

  • great :)

  • PT.4 though I've listened to them on repeat many times before; even my sense of smell feels refreshed. I'm no scientist but I think people who do these things daily for long periods of time can develop a totally different brain and way of perceiving life and people. It's almost psychedelic

  • PT.3 Now I notice more that I'm able to keep up with time better & as I write these paragraphs now I truthfully feel like I can draw words from my head & assemble them in a better manner than just last week since doing this exercise. I have to say these things I know what I'm telling you sounds totally stupid & dumb but there is no doubt in my mind they have helped me from being depressed, angry, & worrying about life. Just today I noticed that my music sounds more vivid and refreshing even

  • PT.2 & took it out when I needed to. All weekend I had it in my left nostril and I never would take it out unless I needed to even while I exercised which I must note "really heightened" my experience. What I got from doing this was that I notice I was able to more efficiently pay attention to my surroundings & notice any changes going on in my room or outside. When watching things or people I had a sense of better understanding of their body movements which made me more interested in football.

  • PT.1 when I came out the womb I couldn't breath properly so the doctor put a tube in my left nostril and unfortunately that it made it slightly bigger than the right nostril. kids used to always look at me funny but long story short I grew up not doing so well in math and overall analytical thinking because my brain was and still kinda is imbalanced. Recently I started doing right nostril breathing so for about 3 days I had my left nostril stuffed with paper for as long as I could tolerate it
