This is likely true. I had a 1989 Trek 1000 for many years. It got me through tens of thousands of miles training and racing, and even once got run over in a crash. It was still original and perfectly smooth when I finally gave up riding. A younger generation of cycling aficionados has inherited the mechanical beauty.

I am jealous of your Madone. My 1.5 will have to do for now.

Pretty much every shred of evidence puts Trek #1 Specialized #2. Don't get me wrong, Specialized makes a great bike, but it's not a Trek ;-)

I am going to get into XC Racing, but road biking is still amazing its just the endurance is to much for me right now.
