To MrBubbly and LuvNeliStar16: there are special toothbrushes and toothpastes for cats. As a reminder, never use toothpaste made for humans. You can find toothpaste and toothbrushes specifically for pets at most pet stores, or if you're having trouble, you could always order it online from our pharmacy at family-vet (dot) com

Cats and dogs are very prone to periodontal disease so it's very important to take car of their teeth. I've found I need to be careful with her teeth more so because my kitty has allergies and mouth breathes a lot. She gets gingivitis really easy so I try and stay on top of her oral care.

my vet gave me some toothpaste and a mini tooth brush to try...but i didn't have the guts to brush his teeth yet....but i am think of brushing his teeth while he is sleeping though....!
