Next in our series of interviews with the finalists in this year's APRA Silver Scroll awards, is Julia Deans. The songstress, who is now based in Melbourne, took time out from sound-check to tell Hugh Sundae all about a very personal song.
Love the guy's interview technique in which he relaxes Julia and disarms her enough to admit that the song is "pretty personal". What a great thing she says about throwing away the song and then not stressing over what get's remembered and what gets thrown away.
It's a crying shame, in fact a travesty, that she didn't score the Scroll!!
