The elevator towards the right has a rear door so these definately had the old manual gate before modernization.

All the modernizing company had to do was add BRAILLE, but they had to put in new fixtures instead.
Also, I read that the floorplate actually covers a hole in the cab that is used to reset the safeties. They remove the cover and use a tool to release the safely.
