this was originally the b-side to Jungle Line, when mr dolby was a member of Low Noise... I had the 12" back through the mists of time.......

@romeropablo That was my point, exactly. I said he stole it from himself, which isn't really stealing. I was not accusing Mr. Dolby of theft; I was just pointing out that he used a brilliant groove of his own invention in two different places.

@WeenerBiscuit Thomas Dolby WAS THE PRODUCER for Whodini. So, He did not stole anything. He use that riff for "Mr Magic's Wand".

Thomas Dolby stole this groove, but since he stole it from himself, there's no real crime. The fundamentals of this song are the same as he used in the old-school rap classic "Magic's Wand" by Whodini.

Bass line sounds like Blue Monday from New Order a little bit. However Thomas Dolby is just awesome artist!

I agree a great track let down by sound/record production problems (tinny).Same on most copys was a shame.

this one is originally (or supposed to be originally) a b-side to 'I Scare Myself'... I have it on vinyl.
