@Nolgthorn The rest of the world is also having its problems. Europe, collectively, is broke. China's economy looks outwardly strong, but is rife with fraud and a misallocation of resources (not to mention reliant on a totalitarian government). Natural disasters aside, Japan has been in the doldrums since the early '90s. A number of Middle Eastern countries are in turmoil. Brazil, I understand, is doing well; it may be the only authentic success story around right now.
