Remington 770

This is a great rifle for the price. You get a Bushnell 3-9x40 scope bore sighted from the factory. Comes in many calibers and is a great gun to have. The only complaint i have would be the bolt. It is a little sticky but maybe with more use it will be smoother. The 770 i recommend for anyone looking at a bolt action gun.

Hey man. I got one of these in 30 06 and like you said you can't beat it for the price. Extremely accurate for anything around where I live in tennessee. I'm anxious to get to a place with alot of range to see how it does at long distances. Do you know if they make after market pistol grip stocks for these rifles?

I have my 770 (apparently) looking like a 700 and a man came up to me on the range and asked about my 700 which is a 770. Anyways I paid 299 for mine and I regret it, I feel sorry if you payed anymore for yours.

@rkygriz Actually go out and shoot a 770. Every thing you said was "what i understand" So you have no real experience with this rifle. for the price and for what you get it is a good package. This gun is very accurate and i will be posting videos on its accuracy with the cheapest .270 ammo i can find which is Remington. the 770 is not the best rifle by far and there might be better bolt guns for the price but i havent shot them to actually give an accurate opinion. Do you own a Marlin XL-7?

@1stOPFOR My effing bolt handle came off in my hand!!! The bolt is pot metal and there is no replacement parts for it! I was a 770 advocate until today!! I'm so pissed at Remington right now it's not even funny. I was oiling the bolt and cleaning it and no lie the handle came off because it is PRESS FIT IN TO POT METAL!!!! WHAT A P.O.S!!!!
