@wb9tbu I think the point here is to paint her as a religious nut-case. but what people don't realize is that, as governor, she actually set aside her own religious-inspired beliefs to honor the checks and balances of government. when the Alaska courts ruled that gay partners could receive same benefits as married couples- she vetoed legislation trying to over-ride the court's decision. Christians were angry with her as a result, but she cared more about the constitution than her own opinion.

@MountMarcyNY and yes, I do care when people die in war. I don't agree with the Vietnam war(I wasn't even alive when it was going on but whatevs). I think the U.S. gets way too involved in world affairs at times.

@MountMarcyNY I don't know enough about her fiscal record as mayor but I do know the city residents approved of the rink being built. now the rink is essentially paying for itself via the revenue it receives. and even if the hockey rink ended up being a bad idea budget-wise, Palin must have learned from it. as governor she reduced state spending by 9.5% after Murkowski was governor which also ended up getting the state out of the red and into the black. she also reduce earmark requests by 80%.

@wb9tbu I'm a Christian and don't believe in the rapture or the end times stuff. the bible, in reality, doesn't even say any of that. preachers started twisting prophesies in the bible that really were for the year 70 A.D. when Jerusalem fell, and told people those prophesies had yet to be fulfilled. so now Christians believe in the rapture and other crazy sounding things. there are a lot of Christians who don't believe in the end times stuff. who knows if Palin does or not.

@MountMarcyNY the Assemblies of God church you are referring to was a church Palin attended as a teenager but did not attend as an adult. the African preacher that prayed about the witchcraft was visiting the church while Palin was visiting, as well. he brought up the witchcraft in his prayer, i'm guessing, because witchcraft is very common where he comes from. the point is, Palin didn't sit under this guy for 20 years. she stopped attending that church probably out of good judgment.

@walkwithHislamp First off, everytime a Palindrone is cornered, they lash out at Obama. Okay, I don't like his church or Wright but given what Wright & his type grew up with, I can understand where he is coming from. Palin's church preaches end times & believes in hokey childish rubbish like witchcraft & spiritual warfare. Do you know how many civilians we killed in the Vietnam war with bombing? Do you care?
