@ColdsRemedy Yeah he got screwed really bad by ray evernham. Like you said at the end of season he easily could've won those last 2 races, then he got put in the 7 car which was not good equipment at all. Give him something to drive, and i'm sure he can still win races today.

@racingformusic Believe me, there are a lot of people who remeber Casey. It's a shame what Ray Evernham did with him. He seemed to care for others more. I wish Casey would come back. I have not seen him racing since 2009.

@Gforcebond Woah really? Sweet!

lol thanks for posting this! My brother was the "front tire carrier" in the commercial but he really was a tire changer for Bill Elliott at the time.

Theres alot of good talent in NASCAR. He had it and could win at least but he just never got the good breaks.

@ColdsRemedy I agree, Nobody has been fair to Atwood, nor have they ever given him a chance. Thumbs up if you want to see Atwood back in Nascar with a top team??? Who's with me?

a talent that never materialized. Lets hope Joey Logano doesn't suffer the same fate

lost his edge from the daytona flip? he damn near won 2 cup races at the end of 2001, phoenix and homestead. then they kick him out of the car just as he was doing much better..
then in 2004 he was 5 spots higher in points than teammate tim fedewa in the busch series when they kicked him out with 5 races to go in the season which makes no sense. and if it wasn't for a late caution he would have won that richmond race that year.. he really has gotten the raw end of the deal a lot.
Love that commercial. I always liked Casey Atwood a lot. It's a cryin' shame that nobody remembers him except me.

You're not the only one. He was one of young prodigies that never materialized.
