This was I think March or May of 89. We drove up from Tampa, a bunch of fuckups in my car. Drank beer the whole drive. It was a trip. Fugazi had NOTHING out yet. We just knew it was Ian on vocals and that's all that mattered. I've got the whole show on vhs. Fuck

Fuck man, I would've killed to seen them in 89 when they were just starting. I never had the chance to see them. It was certainly a better time for music.

Saw Naked Raygun and Scream (with Dave Grohl) there. This was the real indie.

This show was hot as hell, too. The Legion Hall was a hole-in-the-wall joint, incredibly tight. This was my first Fugazi show; incredible to find the footage out here on the 'net. Who woulda thunk it way back then?
