Jake Shimabukuro ~ Orange World @ July 2009 Honolulu Zoo Wildest Show in Town

Jake Shimabukuro at the Honolulu Zoo's "Wildest Show in Town". It's a series that runs throughout the summer on Wednesday nights at the Honolulu Zoo in Waikiki. It's a relaxed, casual atmosphere where everyone brings their "goza" and "bento" and sits on the grass to enjoy concerts by various artists.

On July 29, 2009. Jake Shimabukuro performed before his home town crowd.

Rushing over there after work just didn't cut it as far as seating. So I had a junk spot near the concession, shooting between heads and through the canopy, jammed between people so unable to move much.

Lots of noise and talking so I wasn't going to post any of it but decided that if you listen really carefully, you can still hear and appreciate great music. I'll only be posting the ones that you can hear more music than talking.

Shot with a Canon Vixia HG20 in high definition. The concert was from 6:00 to 7:00 pm so it was slowly getting a little dark.
