Just circling around and comparing my #59DQ, Creata 400 and 60B. Just for fun. Nothing pretty.

The #59DQ and 60B share the same CCPM head and the Creata has a H1 rotor head.
Surprisingly (once trimmed) the #59DQ flies pretty similar to the 60b even though it has a BL tail motor. The tail holds pretty well and is very powerful. But the sound...
The stability of the Creata is amazing but the #59DQ and 60B are just more fun to fly.

  • Cool vid! One question, if I may. I currently fly the Walkera CB180D. Would a step up to the Creata 400 be too much? Thanks and take care!

    CP

  • @bassangler43 Thanks. That would be a good path to a CP heli. If you are good with the 180D you should be fine with the Creata.

    Regards,

    Hans.

  • Nice flying! If it weren't for that obvious annoying sound, I would be interested in the #59DQ. From what I can tell from this video, it seems to be the most stable and so is more suited for my skill level. It will be a while until I get to 60B level. Check out my new Walkera UFLY video. As is here, there is no "fancy flying".

  • The #59DQ flies pretty close to the 60B. They share the same rotor head. Flying a CP heli is not that different from an FP but a lot more things can break. Take your time with the UFLY and have fun. Did you consider a Creata 400? It is actually far more stable than the other two.

  • I am looking into purchasing the Creata 400 or the 60B. Why is the 60B more fun to fly?

  • Both are quite fun to fly. The 60B is less stable to hover than the Creata and a little more agile. It has a very different rotor head (CCPM) versus the H1 on the Creata. A skilled pilot would find the 60B more fun, a beginner would find the 60B frustrating. Hope it helps.

  • @SirCrashSoMuch Hi, I am deciding on whether to get the Creata 400 or the 60B. I know that the 60B has a CCPM set up and the Creata has the H1 setup but I was wondering if the servos would last longer on the HMB since the work load is divided between the 3 servos rather than 1 servo contoling the pitch on the Creata.

    Thanks!

  • wow I could see your heli, nice flying :0)

  • Acutally, I was considering the Walkera 1#A or the E-Sky Honey Bee Version 3 for when I am ready for a CP heli. Yeah... more things can break and they are way more dangerous with headspeeds over 2,000 RPM... I want to spend a arm and a leg on my addiction, not actually lose one or more, lol!
