As a followup story to the "Calf Rescue at E6" film, the four baby cows are now completely healed and strong enough to enter the adult herd of cows at The Gentle Barn. A heart warming testament to the power of love and compassion.

What a joy to watch those happy and healthy calves. Thank you so much for the wonderful job you do for these innocent animals. Thank for such a great facility like the Gentle Barn. I was a vegetarin since 1987and I decided to become a vegan January of this year. I couln't be any happier knowing I will saving a farm animal one at a time. Thank you again and thank you to the amazing volunteers. I am from San Diego but one of these days, I will go visit the farm.

I am now vegan because of the memory of a black calf i innocently named Lucky. Unfortunately, he was not meant to live happily ever after, in my childhood I thought that if I named him Lucky, the adults would not send him to slaughter. That was 40 years ago, and I still see him running in the field happy. Makes me cry. Seeing these babies so happy now, brings tears of joy to my eyes.
