Just watched the Flyers beat the Caps last night...nothing's changed. Was at the game in December, too, when the Flyers beat them 7-1, and the coach had the audacity to claim the Flyers "ran up the score". How do you 'run up the score" in hockey? The Flyers fans may piss and moan when we lose, but the stands are ALWAYS full. Anyone remember the 10 game losing streak last year? STILL a packed arena! We were loyal when the guys were at the bottom of the standings.

A 100% accurate statement. I still live in the area now, and nothing has changed. There are no real Caps fans, just bandwagon that only showed up in game 7. I was at game 7 and it was the first time ever I felt like there was actually a crowd that was behind the home team. I know when the regular season comes around it'll be back to the same old same old where the Caps have no fans again and noone will care. Philly has real hockey fans, and for that matter, real sports fans.

unfortunately i was DC's a bandwaggon city. I kept my season tickets through the bad and the good and never missed a game even when i knew they were just going to humiliate themselves, but most the people in DC just jump off the bandwaggon when times get tough. and dude i was just trying to agree with you and be friendly so some of the people on here would calm the fuck down....

I think it's funny that somehow caps fans must have done a youtube search for FLYERS VICTORY just to cry in their own puddle of sorrow, pathetic caps "fans". Oh by the way you all have one of the WORST season ticket sales...it's called bandwagon. Flyers sell out no matter what.
