  • Millions have died at the misfortune of abusing alcohol. I have sympathy for all of them & the victims. Many would've made a better choice if they'd known the outcome. It's up to others who stand by knowing the person drinking is driving home. Once alcohol has taken charge of a person at high levels they are extremely irresponsible. This makes them an irresponsible drunk, have yet to meet a responsible drunk. As long as we consume alcohol & do nothing about driving this will continue.

  • I think it's a bit gay to start debating how much he'd had to drink. Don't drink and drive at all.

    RIP Pelle, du var bäst!

  • r.i.p. pelle imagine how many cups we would of won with this guy... tragic death

  • @azstong SHUTUP! THATS HORRIBLE!!

  • he could stop a brickwall at a 100 miles an hour too.lol

  • @drewboy2 you're right i just looked it up, she has to be lying or some shit, this is bizarre, its all a fuck up, totallly unfortunate

  • @thinkingjack I have heard this rumour for years and as much as a Pelle fan as I was and still am its not accurate. If you know anything about the porsche 930 the ignition is on the drivers side of the dash, not on the passenger side of the steering column like it is on most cars. there is no way that bimbo could've reached for that key to kill the cars ignition. I love Pelle but he screwed up drunk, plain and simple.

  • @azstong

I wonder if you would say something like that at his funeral in front of his family. I would guess not, but here since you are behind your computer screen, you are safe from a beat down you would so, so deservingly receive.

  • part 2-- Ranger fans were outside wearing and giving away t-shirts with the Flyers logo and colors, on the name plate read "DEAD" with number 31 on the back. That wasn't good enough for the Rangers "faithful," who started chanting "drive a porsche Hextall, drive a porsche" at Flyers goalie Ron Hextall who could not believe his ears. It was later learned the Lindburgh family had been watching the game, commentators could do nothing and said nothing, not even an apology.

    That is MSG for you.

  • When Pelle died, the very next opponent they played were the Oilers, the Oilers asked if they wanted to postpone the game so the team could gather itself in what was a tragic loss. The Flyers said no and they played, after the game the Oilers went right over to the Flyers and offered their condolences. The same did not happen when the Flyers came to MSG in New York to play the Rangers, it was quite different.

  • @azstong i agree

  • I remember when Pelle died, but I was only 10 years old when it hapened. The news reports had me believing that he was plastered. Two beers, a shot of pepperming schnapps, and whatever mixed drink he had, isn't enough to get the guy hammered to the point where he can't drive. I'm move inclined to believe that he was driving a little fast and just didn't see the wall. But either way, and I'm not a Flyers fan, in fact, I hate the team, it bothers me that we were led to believe that he was drunk.

  • this was so rtragic, Pelle was having one of his Best years when he died and also could have been one of the best goalies in which the flyers could have won the Stanley Cup in 1986 and maybe even 1987
