    That is impressive prformance for only 0.8cc. Can you tell me the weight and wingspan of the model? What is the thickness of the lines are you using and are they steel?

  • @Rodz10x - It's not my plane, so I'm just guessing here, but I think the wingspan is around 36". They are very light. The lines are .012 multi-stranded steel lines. My other videos show much better performing planes, with .15 cc and .36 cc engines.

  • how long is his line, i have a lil satan with a cox black widow on it and i tried to run 27' lines and it was way too fast, made me dizzy. so we went with 35' lines and it worked just fine, thats kindof long for 1/2a though right?

  • @sandman503 35' lines are about right. That's what you see in the video. Notice that he's not spinning around flying level. It's easy to feel dizzy just flying level with a fast plane. You need to do some loops and figure-8's.

  • @sandman503 yes, he trimmed the grass and kept going.

  • yea, im not good enough for that yet, i can loop and thats about it. were going flying tomorrow and im going to try to fly upside down.  thanks for the advice.
