The game was made for the SMS, and released in PAL regions in 92. Before being ported to the GG in 93. Americans often diss the SMS, as the difficulty curb in many games is much harder than that on NES.

@ArmagideonTime Your welcome. SMS was very popular in Europe. If you include the Assault City light gun variation, as a unique release. There where 269 games released for the SMS here in Europe. Was my first ever console, the SMS II model with Alex Kidd in Miracle World built in.

Still love the system till this day.
