Send UDP messages from Pure Data to Max MSP 5 - Tutorial

(Although it looks as though I am randomly clicking in places on my desktop...its because I am using a customized desktop which doesn't show with my desktop recorder lol).

For this tutorial I did use some downloaded externals for Max (although the website they were origionally from does not do max patches anymore :( Although I will upload them somewhere so you can use this method.

I did use udpsend and udpreceive on Max but I was unable to grab the data from Pure Data (must only like sending from max to max with that external).

In order to seperate the incoming messages you can send the data with a label e.g "send (labelname) value". The "$1" just means the value of the box connected to the 1st input of the message box. Then in max you can use the "route (labelname)" to get the value of the message :)
