Sonic Crackers is Sonic 4, when the Genesis was scrapped this was recycled into the Knuckles Chaotix game we got on the Saturn.

I've read that! Some people actually call Sonic Crackers Sonic the Hedgehog 4. That's strange, because it was a prototype for Knuckles Chaotix and was never released.
