Memories of Milly

A video about the best cat I ever had, "Silly" Milly. Sadly, she died due to a tragic accident on January 5, 2011.

I have no pictures of Milly (actually, no, I know I have one from when she was a kitten, but I can't find it...). Every time I got the camera out to take a picture of her, she would stop whatever cute thing she was doing at the time and just stare at me.

But I guess it is okay that I don't have any pictures; you couldn't really capture her personality in a still shot anyway.

Because of seeing other cat videos online, I ended up taking a bunch of videos of her instead of pictures, since I wanted to remember her quirky traits (like fetching or "knocking" on the back door). She still did not like to cooperate when the camera was pointed at her, but I did at least manage to get these precious moments.

When I made the video clips used in this video, I only did it because I was bored and was messing with the camera to waste time (except for the ones where she was fetching; I was desperately trying to get her to fetch on camera). Until Milly died, I had thought that I had deleted these videos (because I didn't make them with the intent to keep them, except, again for the fetching ones). I was overjoyed when I found the videos still on the camera while I was looking for pictures of Milly! I am so glad I never deleted them. =)

Instead of uploading all of those videos individually, I put all of my favorite parts from them together on one video to remember her by.

So a big thank you to everyone who watches this video! You are all helping to keep the memory of my sweet "Silly" Milly alive.

@jennypewter97 Thank you for your kind words. As for what happened... she got outside one afternoon and went missing. The next day, our neighbors told us that they had found her dead in their pool. It had just been snowing for a couple of days, so their pool had been frozen over on the top-- so my guess is that she was playing on or walking across the ice and fell through. I still cry whenever I catch sight of that pool.

i love cats and my cat is so cute hes soo fat cuddly he has so many nick names:

Love Milly she sure was a sweet kitty. She's in kitty heaven now, I miss my Maye she was the best kitty. Thanks for sharing

R.I.P 'silly' milly! I saw the video and noticed that Milly looked very happy so im sure she had a wonderful life. To the owner: you are one of those people who cared about their pet(s) and thats very important, so good job! :) -3 milly -3 she was very cute by the way :D
