Starting up the two massive GE90-115B Engines on this Boeing 777-312ER from Singapore Airlines. AUTOSTART was in use. Enjoy!!

NOTE: You may have noticed on this video that I switched the FCS (Fuel Control Switch) to RUN before turning the START/IGNITION selector to START. I would like to thank ipts5i and lzd772 for pointing out that actually, to start the engines, the selector needs to be switched first before the FCS can be switched to RUN.

Platform: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (9.1)
Aircraft: PSS 777 (JustFlight 777 Professional)
Type: Boeing 777-300ER
Airline: Singapore Airlines

My Computer Specifications:
-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz 8MB L2 Cache
-4GB DDR2 RAM 800MHz
-nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB GDDR3

  • Mistake : Before turn on the fuel flow on pedestal, first you may open the "engine start" button to start. Than wait N2 to be 24% and than open the fuel flow switch on pedestal. This prosedure is in real aircraft.

  • @MrErtozka

I made an improved video as mentioned in the description which shows the correct procedure. Also, you don't have to wait for 24% N2. Keep in mind the 777 has an autostart system which automatically introduces the fuel at the right time. Therefore, real pilots switch the FCS almost right after the selector is set to START.

  • See, the remedy to this is obviously to spend about 50K on a home built simulator of the 77, or you can spend 20 million on an FM Simulator of the 777, or PMDG can friggin announce when they will release the bloody 777 so we can all say, yeah, finally, I don't have to fly my 744, for another year...

  • @FloridianAirsofters

Yeah I agree. It's about time PMDG use their expertise to create the world's first truly realistic B777 sim for FS9/X.

  • Yeah, but PMDG said they will not release anything for FS9 again, they say basically that the "market is dead" and that is based off of current market trends

  • @FloridianAirsofters

If that's the case with PMDG, then I guess all the B777 fans are going to have to move over to FSX unless they can stick with PSS on FS9.

  • This is better then Wilco B777-2ER one right?

  • @RixceU

Yup, you're definitely right. It is definitely as close to the real 777 at the moment.

  • @AuliaHarun

PSS 777 is pretty good actually compared to many other paywares. It doesn't have too many major flaws.
