This program, with JEFF ENGLEHART of Iraq Veterans Against the War and ANTHONY ARNOVE, author of Iraq: The Logic of Withdrawal, was held at the University of Illinois at Chicago on January 20, 2007.

The November elections showed the growing sentiment against the war and occupation of Iraq. But the release of the bipartisan Iraq Study Group report shows no sign of actually ending the occupation. Even if all its proposals are followed, the U.S. will only cause more death and suffering in Iraq.

Incredible speech, I read an article on yahoo recently which said the majority of Americans don't have an estimate of the Iraqi death toll..some thought it was 5000 if I remember correctly.
