I think it's actually a mix of the two. But I distinctively remember their coverage on Common's invitation to the White House and that alone makes me think that Fox simply has a chip on their shoulders because America has elected and highly favorited and supported an African American president. In result, they plan on paying special attention to the culture with a higher agenda of marring Pres. Obama and the office. But, that's just a guess.

Sorry guys, I'm a black female and I thought the Fox news anchor was clever and RIGHT. Appropriate; not so much. Maybe I'm expecting too much but, as college Senior studying in the school of Journalism & Broadcasting, I rather hear less personal opinion and more intellectual stimulation and honest coverage on things that will actually affect my life; maybe something like world politics and economic matters. The reason FNC took an interest to Common was the fact that he, a noted supporter of convicted cop killers Abdul Jabar and Assata Shakur, was invited to give a performance at the White House during a week of the year that is meant to HONOR AND ACKNOWLEDGE the efforts of people who serve in law enforcement.

I think the guy had a great point in telling all of these girls to wake up. He not only beat rihanna to a point where she needs to be hospitalized, he also bit her. What kind of a savage animal would do that? I get that there is a double standard when it comes to guys beating girls but even if it was the other way around, I would loose respect for either of them. If Chris brown was just some random guy he wouldn't be forgiven so easily. Talent doesn't give him a free pass to be an ass.

finally someone said it, an i'm not going to get into the race discussion because i think it is ridiculous to judge someone on skin colour, but chris brown to me, is no better than ike turner, as far as i am concerned they are both assholes as is anyone who would beat a woman and put her in the hospital, the guy made a comical but very real statement, which i am in favour of, i can't say he said it because of race, but fox news does tend to glorify being white and rich.
