  • This guys emo.

  • @monidhoni15 Under the front plastic door, there is Firewire or iLink and in the back of the camera on the left side there is a USB port for the streaming USB feature, if so equipped, you can check in the menu options that they are also enabled however

  • @MetallicBill There are various model D8 Sonys, some have analog circuits so they are "backward compatible" and some like the TRV140 do not, but it works fine with any 8mm cassette, and there is no Hi8 or High Band indicator on the camcorder, so it's not associating with a need to use Hi8 formulation for D8 recordings. My videos I'm putting up now include material I shot in D8 format using LP speed on standard 8mm cassette, you may notice little of no difference among the other sources!

  • @leonardo1480 With a 8mm-C adapter! hahahaha Nope, sorry buddy, Sony's answer to miniDV was Digital 8, it was a transitional measure that cut cost of adoption from analog to digital, the cost of DV was very high initially

  • I don't buy this as an EXPERT testimonial, since I just got one, and I have a boat load of 8mm tapes, used several Sony and Canon camcorders for that format, I don't see the Digital8 camera being compatible, it records and plays back in the D8 format only, not analog. Nor does it play or record on standard tapes, think of it as S-VHS, S-VHS will play back on a normal machine but not be useable, The camera uses Hi8 format tapes to record D8 at a fast rate of speed, that clearly makes it unusable

  • @leonardo1480 no it wont they are 2 different sized tapes

  • no it aint

is it rlly a wise choice
