can't agree with you about left 4 dead 2, this secuel actualy has more new things that most of OUR favorite games like uncharted 2 and biosock 2(and certanly more than any 1st person shooter or fighting game secuel) I think that the reason you were disapointed is that the first was a completly new concept of 1st person shooter and the second one only was an evolution of the first one,wile you were especting a game that was as revolutionary as the first one

@bigbardos I just thought the levels were a tad generic and the same exact levels we saw in the first but re-skinned with a new theme. I saw so much missed potential to take the game even further.

I've never played uncharted 2, but she's made me slightly interested.. I'm a critic though, so it will take me a lot to agree. I'm already concerned the game is a PS3 only game. =/ I've lost respect for console games since about 6 years ago...

the reason so many games dnt look as gd on ps3 is cause developers linited to wat the 360 can onli do

The NES, SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, & PS1 are in my Top 5. I miss SEGA's quirky charm that complimented Nintendo's. Microsoft doesn't have that. Too PC-like w/ redundancy to FPS shooters. The next gen of systems won't be a huge leap forward anymore unless we go virtual reality or photo realism. Gaming sold out to the mainstream. It lacks REPLAY value for me. Where it can improve alot is still in portables. That's why the 3DS will be huge. "Console-less" future is imminent though.

Awesome opinions, hun. Agree with alot on what you said although I did like Sly Cooper 1 and Conker's Bad Fur Day on N64. I am NOT a fan of motion-sensoring. When I play games, but I just want to sit back and relax. I'm not a fan of this 7th gen of consoles. Dreamcast was the last great true gaming console to me. Too many FPS shooters on 360, the Wii lacks depth, and PS3 recoats its games with better graphics. Boring. Maybe I outgrew games, but it isn't as fun as it used to be...

I have both a 360 and ps3, and I think that the ps3 is better. And I disagree when people say that xbox live is better than PSN. I don't think so. But I do still love to game on the 360 as well. And I don't like WII, I have one but.... you know.
