Del Ballard, Jr. and Walter Ray Williams, Jr. faced off in the final match of the 1989 PBA Firestone Tournament of Champions. One would take home a convincing win, the other would become the most dominant player on the PBA tour in the 1990s. Part 1 of 2.

  • @dunnzo....the zip ups and mock necks dont looks bad. its the button down collar jerseys that i dont like. They look kinda cheesy. I think most of the players thinks so too because you dont see a lot of those styles anymore. I think the first year the PBA started with Gemini those were the shirts guys wore. The players prolly asked for another style because most of them a re wearing the mock necks and half zip up jerseys. these NEW jerseys are all about marketing the sponsors.

  • @SmooveLefty Anything would be better than those collarless things they wear now that make the bowlers look like race car drivers. Yuck.

  • La Mode should bring back those old school style shirts. I'd bet they would be a hit.

  • Ballard gives the bird at 4:40 on national television... class act you've got for a son there, Sr.

  • i like how walker ray still bowls exactly the same then as he does now. its great!

  • @Kjr0se The bowling center where I bowl still has the good old wooden lanes.

  • Walter Ray will win 49 PBA titles in his career.

  • lol when walter ray said 15 or 20 i was like u should see you now lol 45 =D

  • It's kind of a shame that the old wooden lanes are being phased out, and being replaced by synthetic lanes. I miss the way the ball sounded when it made contact with the wooden lanes, it sounds really different when the ball hits the synthetic lanes now though. I guess Riviera Lanes in Ohio has probably gone to synthetic lanes by now.
