Again, I have no idea why... I can sortof pinpoint this obsession to the smexy asian men in androgynous boy bands and to the kimono and general culture. Also, I thank IFC for playing Ye Olde Samurai movies STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN on TV on Saturday mornings. -heart- :]

There is a reason why the U.S. does not have traditional things like Kimonos....our country (usa) is few hundred years old approx. 234....while Japan's birth took place about 30,000 years agoin in the Jomon period. Japan is one of the riches in terms of culture identity. I will agree....we don't have much here in the U.S....no Kimono. I like it when my Japanese girl friend wears her traditional gowns....
