WABASH CABOOSE: Monon, Indiana

While touring on highway #421, I stumbled across this railroad museum in Monon, Indiana with this restored Wabash caboose in mint condition. There is a restaurant called the Whistle stop where you grab a bite to eat while looking at a wonderful collection of train memorabilia from years past. It is 63 miles south of Michigan City in the Eastern time zone**********CHECK IT OUT.

I have been in that caboose many times. My son always wants to go in it when we go to eat at the Whistle Stop.

My dream is to own a streamlined Wabash caboose like the one shown. They did an outstanding job on this one. Great little museum too.

Just off 421 (east on State Road 10) you could stumble upon the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum as well.
