This rap video is used at Clemson University to promote energy conservation to students living in University Housing. Five English 314 students produced the video under the direction of Mike Pulley, their professor and Gary Gaulin, their client-based customer. The rap video idea came from a group within the English 314 communications class. The lyrics tell where electricity comes from (how it is produced) and share three examples of ways to conserve energy. The rap music and the lyrics are original work created just for this video. The students far exceeded expectations as they produced what some have called a very professional piece. Please watch and enjoy this Clemson University student communications project and see if you feel it will make a difference in getting more students to conserve energy on campus in Clemson, SC. The students are recognized for their contributions in the credits at the end of the video.

  • Nice!

  • Pretty decent. Check out "Whatever At Fike"

  • This is so cool! And to think that students at Clemson did this all on their own as an assignment in their communications (tech writing) class! Duke Energy should be happy with the positive appeal of the video. Thanks for this great video Clemson students!
