The character animations and fast gameplay are a couple of the things that made the series, this is just characters smiling like idiots while hitting buttons=/ I really wish they added more songs, higher difficulties, and some kind of classic mode.

This version has it's merits. It does encourage players to exercise more. I can see this game being used in institutions where people need exercise.
And I seriously doubt every Pop'n game is gonna use this same format, Wii games Konami is just milking the Wii craze by taking advantage of the Wii's features, much like DS ports of older games take advantage of DS features.

Great good job konami I think you just messed up the whole Pop'n Music formula.
there's no way I'm playing this game although I'll gladly play the other versions of Pop'n music.
