This is some old footage out of 2010. It shows my adult 7,5cm (3 inch) long tiger barbs.

The population of this 420 liter (111 gallon) tank:
Pearl Gourami / Mosaikfadenfische (Trichogaster leeri)
Blue three spot gourami / Blaue Fadenfische (Trichogaster trichopterus)
Kissing gouramis / Küssende Guramis (Helostoma temminkii)
Clown loach / Prachtschmerlen (Chromobotia macracanthus)
Red-tailed black shark / Feuerschwanz Fransenlipper (Epalzeorhynchos bicolor)
Chinese algae-eater / Siamesische Saugschmerlen (Gyrinocheilus aymonieri)
Tiger barb / Sumatrabarben (Puntius tetrazona)
Kuhli loach / Gefleckte Dornaugen (Pangio kuhlii)
Bristlenose plecs / Antennenwelse (Ancistrus)
my rule of thumb for the biggest fish in your tank is the fish cannot grow to more than 1/8 of each dimension of the tank so in a 20 gal high demensionsd are Lxwxh 24x16(i think)X16 in so a fish that is full grown at no longer than 3in no fatter than 2in and no taller than 2 in is the biggest you can have also the length cant be more than 1/4 of the width of the tank (for those super long tanks)

@OmniPoe2 my barbs i have had for 2 years now i got them at 1in in legth now in 2 years they seem to have maxed out at 1.5 in thats my barbs for what ever reason all the fish in that tank have maxed out smaller than normal im happy about that. there in a 20 gal. with my 3 gouramis that maxed out at 2.5 inches there blue opaline and platinum . the only one i could see why he maxed out at 25 in is because he was in a ten gal for most of his life. i dont know why my fish maxed out smaller.

@vqfive i am positive someone will get a hybrid like that and they will take over the fish population. they are going to cause the Apocalypse for the fish world

@MyFishCare101 I'd say 20-30 gallons minimum, but the more, the better. :)

@AreYouBoredShow -for some of the fish you have they should be kept in larger groups or they're more shy, get stressed easily and Die earlier, especially Neons. How are the 2 neons doing anyway? I wish I could add only 3 to my 29 gal. because it's almost maxed out.
