Ugh, waste of my time! Like others have said what do I do just pull random dogs into my house? And yeah, my dog would immediately lunge and bark not just do a lip curl. Where is the praise when the dog is doing the right thing? This is not a good training video. Boo :(

@Nugatti I actually stopped doing that. Instead, if another dog comes towards her, I just go the opposite direction.

@0Swantonjack0 1. you don't let a pack of labs charge her when she's nervous! that's NOT helping. 2. start with one at a distance. make sure the lab stays calm. 3. make sure every experience is a good one. 4. realize she's not going to be a trusty dog overnight.

@godzilla964 that's like forcing you to take a cold shower and then stand naked in front of the new people you are introduced to. Not a healthy way to teach your dog.. but hey.. if it works for you.

Where the hell am I supposed to bring other dogs from? Omg stupid is there another way?

the tips may be solid but the example is terrible. at the point other dogs entered the room my dog would be totally flipping out. if it were on a lead at the park and spotted another dog it would be choking its self to the point of vomiting. dogs off the lead approach my dog to be greeted with a bite in the face. no tail wagging at all. my dog is a small 4 year old flat coated retriever. it has never bit a person and lives with a cat but hates other dogs.
