  • @gameover340 - but if you had a million bucks you could buy one. ;-) They are still a popular choice in the marine industry and as industrial backup generators.

  • @gameover340 - you can still buy new Alco engines today, just not complete locomotives. The engines are manufactured by Fairbanks-Morse (another former locomotive manufacturer).

  • @gameover340 Sadley back in the early 70's late 60's Alco left the loco market .

  • awesome video, are alco's still being built today ?
