@LostinMemoryLane with Hodges, Jones would be more likely to get angry and say "They don't like it up 'em!"

For when a driver ignores the rules of the road, have a penny ready. I did - lobbed it at a car that sped across a zebra crossing while I was starting to cross it. Aim: make the driver annoyed (they probably think their car is damaged) so they'll stop and you can have a go at them. Crossing patrols (lollipop men and women) should be allowed to throw objects at cars, due the amount of times drivers ignore the law and go straight through the crossing patrols - as illegal as going through red light

@ArmyMen333 you get the odd one here and there.

@Feisty1967 its simple enough if they rev there engine, give them your swear fingers.

This is Woodley shopping centre in Berkshire.

Brilliant!! They should show this ad today! So many drivers these days are so impatient and go on amber and even rev their engines at pedestrians, the boy racers and the like.
-
Did they have pelican crosses during World War II then?
-
This was actually fimed in December 1976 - a couple of days before Christmas, in Woodley, Berkshire.

nowadays bad drivers will only stop if a 12 gauge is pointing at em!
History being made here. Corporal Jones for once isn't shouting 'don't panic' despite the agression shown by Hodges!
