@GutsandGlory45 No no I agree. I like A LOT of deathcore and metalcore, and I shouldn't have said that they're crap. It's just that lot of core singers that don't really develop their own character but I don't think it's really their fault. A lot of core vocalists are younger than that of death metal and heavy metal (just something I've noticed) so maybe they haven't been singing long enough to actually form that individuality in their voice. Whereas Stanne has been a vocalist for years n years.

@oamLHeadBangerLmao Well I can agree with that. The sub-genre of metalcore and deathcore have gotten stagnant over the years with samey or similar-sounding bands. But that does not mean it sucks completely or its 'not metal' enough. Sorry for snapping at you. I am just sick of seeing elitists tools on Youtube talking down to anyone and everyone for liking something that isn't 'old school' enough or 'heavy' enough. Its ridiculous.

@GutsandGlory45 I didn't say they weren't. I just feel that they just aren't as good as metal from Europe... I guess that's partly because of my bias, being a singer. I feel like a lot of metalcore/deathcore band vocalists sound a lot alike and no specific singer develops a really unique character. Although, not to say that goes for ALL core... All Shall Perish, for example, I can recognize that singer when I hear it in a flash. But nothing like that of Alvestam or Stanne.
