@twiggyjali: I second SwitchScissors: by massaging the scalp you stimulate bloodflow, and almost every part of the body heals, or gets 'energised' by a better bloodflow, so yes, I do think it will promote hairgrowth

Does the head massage itself do anything to promote hair growth? At the salon I go to, they do a therapeutic head massage while they condition your hair, but aside from just feeling nice, I don't know if it does anything for the hair itself ^^;
