  • @thanosroger98 My STR is the type: 15420P/UF

  • @thanosroger98 more spec here: flickr. com/ photos/ nicecontent/ 5491575307/ in/ photostream/

    just remove spaces ;)

  • Very nice. Where you found small amount of STR? NOT the Dupont EVA

    thanks

  • @thanosroger98 i found 15 meter on ebay.co.uk i still have 5 meters or so, also on ebay.com you can get hands on some other type from china. Also i contacted STR direct, and it was possible to get samples. That was 2 years ago, so don't know if they still give samples to DIY folks as you and me

  • Firstly, great videos!

Did you know a vacuum pump can be made from old refrigerator compressor? If it still runs, just use the suction side, be aware however the oil in the compressor may try to escape, best to have outlet in an extended vertical position and place "pump"on floor. We are going to "vacuum down " with small tube.

Good info you have here, Thank YOU for sharing

  • @CTOL1 thanks ;) happy to share

Great recycling tip, no i did not know i could use a refrigerator compressor .) I will try this some day, i have a defect refrigerator, it only cool down to 10 C. It might works as solar vacuum compressor instead ;)
