This is a video of me teaching you guys how to play a song I learned by ear. Look up "stevie hoang addicted" to hear the real one on YouTube. My rendition has very slight changes and differs very little from the original.

Honestly learning by ear is pretty easy, but i have trouble with the left hand which is the bass so yeah so thats theonly key taking i do,

Really anyone can hear the melody and use trial and error to figure out what it is, but you can't say you can play by ear until you are able to hear the bass. The ability to separate the two is what makes it hard, not the guess-and-check method of finding the melody's notes.
