I'm a big HBK fan, but don't hate on Bret, he had a ton of great matches that didn't involve HBK. Austin, Taker, Bulldog, Owen, Mr. Perfect, 123 Kid, Yoko.

He only had one great match with HBK, the one at WM12, both their Survivor Series matches were weak, although the 1997 one is infamous for different reasons.

Paper champ? Bret carried the WWF on his back when it was being pushed around by WCW. HBK got the belt at WM XII, and while, yes, as great a wrestler (and maybe a champ I suppose) as he was, couldn't sustain the WWF's problems.

And Bret only had about 4-5 matches with HBK. About two of them were classic (Iron man & the Montreal match).

THIS is awesome. Im SO tired of those HBK tribs that sound like funeral music. And this song, as weird as it is to place Shawn with Eminem (Or maybe not, theyve both been rebels and trailblazers), it makes sense, alot of sense. Our boy did take that "one shot" and run wit it. R

It's HBK fault it got to the point it did. By telling Bret to "Get the fucking out of the ring this is my moment" after their WrestleMania 12 match. By refusing to drop the title to Bret at WrestleMania 13. I can go on and on.

I understand what you're saying & I respect your opinion. But the thing is...Vince is very quick to fire people. We all know that & i'm not talking about the little act he puts on in the ring. Bret was guarunteed entry into WCW no matter what. HBK...all he had and still has is the WWE. So he would have been risking his entire career for the sake of honor. Would you have done the same?
