Manchester United star Ryan Giggs cheated on his wife with reality TV star Imogen Thomas, then obtained a super-injunction to prevent media outlets from publishing his name in relation to the incident.
That gagged British newspapers — with the exception of the Scotland Herald, which published his photo — but it didn't stop thousands of Twitter users or Wikipedia from naming him.
Giggs is now suing Twitter over the super-injunction. His actions have likely drawn more attention to his affair than it would have received had he not tried to gag the media in the first place.

Murdoch and the gutter press milking the scandal and working up a lynch mob are hypocritical scum, who should not intrude and hack their way into private lives- and no business of all the judgmental nosey parkers who get off on juicy sex scandals. Shame on all the Giggs haters- the real enemy was always Murdoch. Max Clifford, buddy of Rebekah Brooks, was another who made money from the dirt against Giggs
