"Pure Bliss" is a Tahoe mega-classic. A must do for any visiting climber. Here is Jimmy Haden doing the Second Ascent of this proud line. It took me four days to unravel the beta; finally I used a TR to suss it. I sent in less than ideal conditions. Truly though, this send was a team effort. Red (John Thomas) and Dave Ficter found the line and we all started cleaning and trying it. There is an amazing V4 super highball just to the right of "Pure Bliss" called "Ignorance is Bliss" that D Grif set up, cleaned, sussed and FA'd. There are also some sick projects near these lines that we have started working. They will likely be in the 10-12 range. These problems are all at South Bliss (a big pullout with a teetering choss rock just south of Bliss park entrance.) Bliss can be a little chossy at times, but it can also deliver some epic lines! ...The Tahoe adventure continues.
