This is a song first recorded by Nat King Cole, he made this song. Comparing anyone to the original is just wrong.
Moulin Rouge version is peanuts to Nat King Coles.

I love Kalan, but this song is one of my favorites from Moulin Rouge. And he doesnt capture that pain and passion of the song David Bowie expresses in the original song.
