A slideshow of my paintings set to Yoko Kanno's Rain. Mai Yamane's version from the Future Blues cd.

The styles change a lot, that shows how my painting has been developing. This paintings were done between 2001-2006. The ones that appear first are the newest.

  • it's not disrespectful to voice that the vid sucks as it sort of doesn't go with the song. No disrespect to the artist as their art is cool but just doesn't belong with this classic Bebop track.

  • yep, that's right, that's because I didn't want to make a video to the song. I made the slideshow and then just put a favorite song to it. Sorry to disapoint all the fans. I like cowboy bebop a lot, and Yoko Kanno too. This was just to show the paintings. Hopefully you will find more interesting bebop videos around here. :D

  • dude :00 to :07 that sound sounds so familiar like i remember it in a movie or something

  • I don't know, but it sounds like "Strawberry Fields" to me.

  • WALK! IN THE RAIN! IN THE RAIN! IN THE MOTHERFUCKING RAIN GOD DAMN IT!!!!!!!!

    Cowboy bebop is awesome. <_<

  • The chapel scene from cowboy bebop is possibly the greatest anime moment ever, and this song is part of that.

  • WOW. Talented artist. Good taste in music as well :)

  • @Nonsensei436

    Undoubtedly :D

  • cool!

  • great song heard on a great anime set to great paintings, dispite what naysayers say. I felt that the only point of the video was to showcase your work, not silly transitions or timming it to a tune (even though a beautiful tune was chosen). I am more impressed with the straightforwardness of the presentation, and your brush work (what little i could make out on my tiny monitor). Its closed minded to expect every series of pictures passes on a screen with music playing to be a music video.

  • Can't imagine anything less appropriate for this song. Very poor taste... Didn't have to show Bebop, but come on. sigh...

  • @Nonsensei436 i would agree 100% with that

  • personally I like this rendition of Rain , the one that was in the anime as apposed to the "rock" version.
