Goodbye Celebrate! - A Tribute

Tomorrow, Disneyland will be stopping the beat of the happy and high-energy street party called Celebrate!, which debuted in the Spring of 2009. It was met with mixed opinions, but for me, it was ALWAYS a delight to watch and my love for it and the performers involved grew more and more with each time I watched. In the past, I had never cared much about the shows or parades that went on at the park, but with '09 being my first year as an AP holder, I was able to experience Disneyland in a whole new light. This new level of appreciation for Disneyland and its cast members has filled me with such a spark of unexplainable joy that was missing from my life for far too long.

It wasn't until a few days ago that I decided I wanted to make something special to showcase all my favorite performers and the wonderful moments of this show because this is an awesome bunch of people and they deserve nothing less. It would unfortunately be quite impossible to include everybody in this video, as this street party is rather massive with total crazy constantly happening on all sides of you. PLUS, I decided to only use my own footage, and I was usually always in the same general spot when I watched this thing, so I send out my deepest apologies to all the performers and characters that unfortunately didn't get included in this tribute. Know that you are included in its spirit! : ]

SO, with that.. Good bye you ol' C!ASP and your ability to never fail to cheer me up. You had a great run, and although I am sad to see you go, I am hopeful that your new friend Soundsational is going to be a blast! Can't wait!

Songs are "Celebrate You" sung by Corbin Bleu, and then the instrumental version of the theme song that I am unfortunately not sure who to credit for. If you happen to know, I'd appreciate it. :)

what a great tribute. i totally agree with everything you wrote above. 09 was the first year of my pass and I always made it a point to watch C!ASP whenever I made it to dland no matter how much criticism it received by many. I loved watching each of the CMs pour their hearts on for each and every show. I will def miss them and the energy that they brought with each performance. so thank you to each and every one of them and thank you for posting this wonderful video.

They should just move it over to DCA! This parade was so much fun! All the other parades are beautiful but none have the level of interaction Celebrate had! All those smiles on the little kids after dancing and singing with their favorite characters were just priceless!
