Ah, he was a good ol' power crazed, jaundiced viewed, bullying, Ed Balls loving, EU worshiping boy. God rest all who sail in him......

@Bellalodicci9 Do you mean in 2005 when George Osborbne was 33? Before financial crisis hit in 2008? When Gordon Brown was chancellor in 2006-07? When the debt to GDP ratio was as low as 35.9%, compared with 42.5% in the final year (1996-97) of the last Conservative government? We will never know what the situation would be now had George Osborne been able to make decisions during the financial crisis and he has yet to prove himself.

Listen to Brown carefully. He always goes on about fairness and services but without a good economy you can never achieve this.
Sorry but he will be the worst politician of the 20th & 21st century and that takes some doing

Watch his wife, she has no confidence in him either.

A good man. Hate the way the media, the people of Britain and even his own MP's treated him.

@JuanMacready Ahhhh, so you fail to answer the question about your profession, slate mine and my qualifications and the fact that both my parents are consultants at Great Ormond Street Hospital, one working in oncology (cancer) and my dad a cardiothoracic surgeon
Thank you Mr Brown for all your hard work throughout the past 13 years, I started medical school under a labour government, I have seen the amazing achievements that has saved so many. Now a doctor I continue to work in an NHS that is the best in the world. Youre leaving statement to the country and labour resonates. Today I have meet nurses and colleagues who are very sad to see you and the labour party go. "By the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more together than we do alone.
